Both tablets have the same display size, though the Galaxy Tab 7.7 succeeds to impress with its Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen plus a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels that makes it very clear and bright, while Amazon Kindle Fire includes an IPS technology and anti-reflective treatment plus 1024 x 600 pixel resolution.

Display:

The Kindle Fire has a resolution of 1,024 x 600 with 7-inch IPS LCD multi-touch screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 gets the accolade of having the best display with 7.7-inch a Super AMOLED Plus display and a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution screen.

Weight:

The Kindle fire weighs 413 grams.

Considering Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab 7.7 will have about 335 grams.

Resolution:

However, Amazon will have to overcome the fundamental weaknesses as a 3G connection to be able to better compete with Samsung Galaxy Tablet 7.7
