How to use Galaxy S2 on MacBook Pro?

"How can I use Samsung Galaxy S2 with a MacBook Pro and get my contacts, music etc onto it. Any help ?"

You can easily connect your iDevice like iPad, iPhone or even iPad with your Mac. But how can you connect and sync the latest blockbuster Android device with your Mac, such as Samsung Galaxy SⅡ? Android (albums, music, pictures and podcasts etc) can be synced with Mac’s iCal, Address Book and also iTunes.

Now, let`s syncing and connecting Samsung Galaxy S2 with Mac OS X Lion step by step.

Step1: Keep Mac, Salling Media Sync, Samsung Galaxy S2 with USB data cable handy.

Step2: Go to “Applications”, then head to “Development-USB debugging” and turn on the “USB Debugging mode” by tapping on it if it’s not active, finally, proceed to connect your device with USB cable to your Mac.


Step3: Open Salling Media Sync software tool and follow the on screen steps to proceed.
Tips: Once it’s installed on Mac, you can use your USB Cable and you can hook your Samsung Galaxy S2 to the Mac. You can use iTunes to sync music, pictures, and podcasts from your Mac to Samsung Galaxy S2.

Step4: If you like to sync the address book, you will need to get a Google account, then go to Address book and tap it-Preferences-Synchronize with Google. Then, you will need to sign in the account and all the changes will automatically synchronized with Samsung Galaxy S2 and vice versa.

Step5: If you just want to transfer the files like songs, wallpapers and other video files that Samsung Galaxy S2 supports just connect your device, Go to Settings-Applications-Development- tap on USB debugging to select.

Step6: After all the above steps finished, drag down the notifications window and click on USB connection. Click on Mount and you will see a new drive with on your desktop, you can copy all your files into SD drive.
