Import Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 AVCHD Lite to Final Cut Pro X

Recently, I got Panasonic Lumix DMC- GH2 camera, I choose the record videos in 720p AVCHD Lite not 1080p AVCHD. I would like to assemble the videos from camcorder and Lumix camera to create unique family videos. When I import camcorder AVCHD to Final Cut Pro X, there is no problem. However, Final Cut Pro X could not cope with Lumix camera AVCHD Lite video footage. So how to make the Panasonic proprietary AVCHD Lite 720p videos editable in Final Cut Pro X?

Panasonic GH2

Panasonic’s Lumix GH2, One of the first cameras in the world to offer an 3D interchangeable lens, functions as a dual SLR and 3D device that has more than 10 interchangeable lens options. Shooting with a 10x zoom with a high-speed burst rate at 5fps (16MP) or 40fps, it captures movement with precise, high-resolution clarity. Movie capturing, LCD touch screen, and a 14-140mm lens are among the coveted features included.
